You're welcome David. Looks quite magenta in that repro. Here's what I do with DSS. I stack my images, then adjust the colours so their histogram peaks line up. I then go to the Luminance panel and adjust the histogram so that the line runs through the middle of my histogram peak (half way up the 'spike') I then make sure the highlights tapers to the top right. That should leave it looking fairly "grey" and showing everything from the background to the brightest stars.
