Selling this HEQ5 Pro "AS-IS" . I've owned it 6 months, I'm guessing it's about 10 years old. Needs a fair bit of work.

Herein lies a cautionary tale of buying a used something online, sight-unseen. Don't start me.

Alright. Tracking is OK for visual, but not good enough for unguided subs, and not holding guiding at all in DEC, I suspect it needs all new bearings and/or motors. I have replaced the comms board, (ie connections to handset, power switch, etc) which I got brand new in January from Tasco (Aus Skywatcher service agent). I have a BRAND NEW replacement motor control board included in the package. Handset works fine, firmware V3.35, prob need to replace the connection cable eventually. Polar scope is lit, but needs a good clean, I don't use it myself, but good luck to you if you want to go old-school.

For reference, the motor controller board ("mother board") is worth about 100 Euro alone.

Belt mod has been DONE by previous owner, it all seems OK to me. Has a good padded case for the head and loose parts, as shown, also extra 5kg counterweight not shown.

Physically it's fine, but clearly needs an internal rebuild, for which I have neither the time nor expertise. I say again, this is a REBUILD job for a prospective buyer, and priced accordingly.
