M16 Narrowband close up - 27 hours

Hi everyone,

My go at an M16 Narrowband close up.

27 hours of Ha, Oii and Sii from lock-down central here in Brunswick with 4.5nm filters, AP 900 mount, 9.5" CDK scope, ASI 1600mm camera, all 30 min exposures.

This is actually my first ever full Narrowband image after having these filters for 2 years although I have been using the Ha filter for other images - propbly the only astronomical benefit of being in lock down!

Still a bit of work to do on the colour and I will try to do a full Hubble Pallete.

A real adventure in masks, colour adjustments, layers, star management, dealing with light pollution and street light gradients all whilst processing in PI and CS3.

Can spend several more weeks processing this object!

Stay safe and healthy.
