Is it possible that 10 minute exposures are just not long enough at the F8??? of your RC? This is a mag 12.5 nebula after all.
The reason I ask this is that I have been imaging that area at 20 minute subs in Ha with a OSC Orion camera at F5 and apart from two bright stars, mag 5.1 and 6.7, there are no other brightish ones in my fov of 2x1.5 degrees.
Might be worth upping the ante to 20 or even 30 minute subs as a test.
