Another target I've been wanting to have a go at in RGB is this, the APT load screen! M78. It reminds me a bit of corona australis, whispy with darkness.
Had a few goes processing, but turned out that only a light tough was needed to get the balance that I wanted; to show as much as possible, but not lose any stars in the brightest areas. Pauls effort

made me realise what was there to see, and that I had pushed earlier processing way too hard. His image is something I'd like to build up to over the coming months, perhaps from a darker site.
Anyway, in Canberra we've been so starved of decent nights, I felt good to make the most of the past three decent nights. One observing til about 2, the next imaging til 1, and last night going all the way through, but setting alarms to switch targets. I'm happy to be calling it a night now
