But for now point it up at the Milky Way and see what you may find..you will probably see some globulars...And try the Moon as you can determine how good you have focus.

Hope the fires missed you -- Tabulum fires were on the news, but was out of th room, so did not see the TV screen.

Have not started on the mount yet. but taken the half mount off the tube, and need to yet make a base for it.

As far as spotter, what is wrong with mounting my 70mm Celestron with a red dot finder on to that ten inch.

Chasing feed back on that plan.
