Sometimes that is not fast enough if you have a bad drift alignment.

Hi Allan,

Yes the rate is 0.5X, if you like to increase or decrease that rate you have to do it after each power on, otherwise it will take the default value 0.5X as you mention. Maximum focal length I am imaging with is 1625 (AT8RC), and this guiding rate seems to be OK.
Attached a single 600 seconds Ha, Just taken last night by ST8300M, AT8RC on NEQ6 guided by lacerta mgen, guide scope SV 80mm fl560. There is a slight drift, but I think it can be overcomed by perfect polar alignment.
