Oh, thanks Ryan ... we should feel sorry for ourselves.
In my case actually amazing how much abuse the camera took over the years. Survived the filter surgery, slide in a copper foil and jammed it with mika (spell?) And pushed a peltier cooler recycled from an old Meade CCD. It worked,
But the copper foil is too thin got loose. So I replaced it with a 0.35mm sheet. Oops... brocke one connector. Bugger
