another wrong choice averted thanks for the info karls is greatly appreaciated.
will also look into getting an RA axis drive from my understanding it will solve the tracking issue so as to use the gstar.
maybe the smart star cube next as a grab and go scope and something my son can handle on his own.
was looking at mounts with goto and later down the track will get the heq6 pro as it should do what ever is needed in the future as scope wants change and I think the gstar will see me good for some time for both my son and myself when I want to start doing astro photos.
and as every hobby the lists of things just grows lol.
