Daniel, I have the mono QHY 5 and use it with a 66mm 388mm fl WO66. Your guidescope is small appature and longer fl - less light and small fov - you should go for the mono camera imho if your main interest is guiding- it has 4x the sensitivity of the colour version and has higher resolution (this last depending on how the guidesoftware handles the debayer routine).

I do not use Vista for capture/guiding so cannot comment on that, the IR/UV filter would be needed for imaging not guiding - again I cannot comment as I have not done any imaging with the QHY5 as yet.

General comment - the camera and chip are excellent - the setup and drivers are a little tricky but for the money is cannot be beaten.
