Actually my main plan now after 2 cameras for planetary is another scope, i have now a Mak 180mm, not bad, but it never give me results that are similar or same as large SCT or Newtonian/Dobs, so i keep pushing it too much beyond its ability or power, means it is no longer the best choice then, it is amazing on the moon because that is easy and bright target, didn't test it on the sun because doesn't have a right tools for solar imaging yet, and i also have a newtonian which is 8" f5, didn't test that yet at all for anything, sure once i take it out of the box it will be used sometimes for planetary and then i compare, but i don't have long Powermate as 4x or 5x yet, only have Powermate 2x got it recently, and also TV 3x Barlow, but i think the best planetary images i saw are came from really large scopes, SCT or Dob/Newtonian, even C11 isn't large enough to me now so i skip it, but i can't afford C14 so only a large Dob such as 16" or even 18" is more affordable without buying another capable mount.
