I used a mask around the nebulosity in Startools to do my colour and selected Artistic detail aware
I leave the star field with low saturation and minimal colour and then invert the mask and adjust the saturation levels and colour bias in the nebulosity areas. I really like a black/dark star field with white / off white stars
I only had 7 subs to work with , no darks or flats
These subs were captured down the coast at my semi dark site so noise was on the low end even using ISO1600

Yes I agree, we need a break from the crap weather and get outside and do our thing.Friday onwards is looking promising
