I don't think so mate.
I suspect my guiding woes are to do with grease stiction and contamination - I'm planning on completely stripping it down in the coming weeks and see where we're up to then. I will certainly check and adjust polar alignment then.... But when I disabled guiding output later on, dec drift was pretty small, so I think it is not the problem here.
