I saw it in my 29" newt years ago. Had to be really careful to keep Sirius out of the FOV before looking otherwise you got serious retinal burn-in like glancing at a welding spark. Pup vanished in that glare but otherwise it was a good target. Well done bagging it in an 8" That's a real accomplishment!
