DSLR.BOT for Iphone/Ipod/Ipad

G'day All

I recently stumbled on a great little IOS app for Iphone, Ipod or Ipad. It is called DSLR.Bot and assists in IR control of your DSLR Camera (Canon, Nikon, Sony and Pentax).

See what model cameras are supported here:

http://www.dslrbot.com/specifications/

It provides the following control functions:
  • Shoot
  • Long Exposure
  • Time Lapse
  • Bracketing
  • Movie Mode
It only cost me just over $5 (best five bucks I ever spent! ).

You will need an IR (Headphone Jack) transmitter which can be bought commercially (around $10 - $20) or a cheaper homemade ebay version (around $3).

Alternatively you can make one through a simple and easy to make DIY project.

See the DIY IR cable options here:

Well worth a look and I highly recommend getting it if you are looking to get a remote for your DSLR camera.

The main website for DSLR.Bot is: http://www.dslrbot.com/

The attached pics show a commercial IR option and the cheaper ebay option (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/IR-emitte...item19d66a9a25), as well as a screen pics of DSLR.Bot.

Hope you find some use for this.

Regards
