Thanks Chris, once I noticed the flaring on the back of the camera I changed to the 17-40 and it handled it much better, but obviously not as much FOV.
I'm not sure whether I should try and recover this photo (lots of painting with a contrast tool or dogde/burn) or just throw it on the pile of throw-aways.
You'd love the Bungle Bungles.. though not much in the way of 'street' there
But you could always get the tourist rush when the buses come in
