Had long promised a Russian mate a view through the FS-102 before we left (they'll be down to CBR to visit). I had to sucker-hole all the time, but managed to give him a simply glorious view of M42 with a 32mm EP - he too saw colour in it, despite our absolutely sordid street lighting and building lighting around. The Trapezium stars were all so easily split , even with that wide field el-cheapo Orion ultrascopic! And Betelgeuse was a ruby with not even a hint of CA on it or Alnitak or anything else we jumped around looking at. A doublet no less!
