Tony I had the reducer on for another DSO and didn’t want to do an in the dark changeover and balance. That’s the only reason
I may go back to it as the scope is back to normal.
Thanks Martin, I’m lucky with very dark skies and no need to pull the set up down anymore. A couple of great programs mean I can let it go for hours and not worry about meridian flips. The only thing that bugs me with dslr is the lack of red.
