Completely different technology....
The four wires from the SW controller are only used to make use of the RJ9 plug and socket....
The red/black and green/ yellow actual joint together to make the + and - DC connections at the SW motor.
You need to think about a stepper motor driver board; I'm sure there are others who have built such drives....
