Can anyone shed some light on whether there is s driver for the Meade LPI imager. My laptop is Windows 7 Professional. I have a Meade LT-6 telescope, in which I use my laptop to run the telescope.

I have installed the programs that came with the telescope, and recently purchased the meade lpi imager. However the imager works fine on my desktop which is Windows Xp Home editions sp 3. However when installed on windows 7 professional, it does not find the driver and install a driver from Trust Webcam 14823. I have read other article on this and find that the fix work ok, but if you change the imager to another usb port then it fails.

Also when I use the program in xpmode, the program refuses to load. So running the program for the lpi imager in xpmode doesnt work on my laptop. Guess that because its not Hardware assisted.

I guess I will have to use my imager using the one esata/usb port and not the normal usb. Can anyone give any advise to make the imager work better in windows 7.
