Doesn't WiFi dongle must be on PC side?
Have a look at
OnSTEP website, Howard Dutton is using
WiFi modem for exactly that purpose.
You may have to add some more h/w. to convert 5V serial interface to whatever EQ6 has as paddle interface (not sure what it is).
You can
find it on ebay for 10$
