Just purchased a WO Megrez 72mm scope with DDG and 0.8x FF. What an absolutely brilliant scope.
I originally thought that I would use it exclusively as a guide scope but it came with the DDG (Digital Display Guage) and I must say I originally thought this would be a gimmick, but its so damned accurate and useful I use it all the time. Focus is always spot on for guiding or imaging.
I also bought the 0.8mm FF type III and it just gives a flat field across the QHY8 chip which is a physically large chip. I have just finished a 3hr QHY8 shot of M42 to see what sort of dust is in the region and all I can say is there is a heap of it. Just have to process the image properly.
I went for this scope after Paul (1ponders) mentioned it at Astrofest, then I looked at some images he had done with his and I was convinced.
Goes so well with the 5" APO refractor.
