Great post for all those who want to get into Astrophotography and think it’s financially or technically out of their reach
I started 4 years ago with a 6” f6 newt, a HEQ5 and my wife’s Canon 600D plus odds and sods for under $1500 taking 30sec and 60 sec exposures of Eta Carina, Lagoon Nebula , Omega Centauri and many many others ( no guiding and no fancy software , just downloading the images on my old desktop ) I was immediately hooked !!!
Thanks for starting this post and giving beginners advice on what can be achieved with basic gear and relatively low cost
