Last night in Brisbane we enjoyed some quite steady skies with a crescent Moon setting in the west. I checked VMA (Virtual Moon Atlas) and it indicated that the craterlet Armstrong and the Apollo 11 landing site would be very close to the terminator, so I set up to grab a few AVI’s.
The seeing was pure joy, with small, delicate details popping into and out of sharp focus without any smearing.
The craterlets Armstrong and Collins were nicely resolved with Aldrin remaining in the shadows.
All taken with a Tak Mewlon 210, Tak x1.6 Extender and ASI174MM CMOS camera.
Stacked and Aligned in AS!3, Wavelets in regisrax6 and finishing in PS CC.
Cheers
