Starshoot Camera IV Sensor Questions
Hello,
The Instruction Manual that came with my "Orion Starshoot Solar System Color Imaging Camera IV" shows the following Specifications:
Number of pixels: 1280 x 1024 layout (Windows)
1280 x 960 layout (Mac OS X)
How does that work?
Also, the pixel size is given as 3.6 x 3.6 microns. As 3.6 X 1280 = 4,608 microns, how does this give a sensor size stated as 1/3 inch (approx. 8.47mm)? Or have I got this all wrong?
