Hi Peter, Yeah, I am aware of it. Still doesn't make the clouds go away.
I use our local metservice site mostly. They have good IR and visible cloud satellite pics and I can make my own assumptions from what I know about weather and NZ local patterns.
This time of year around the equinox is always unpredictable but this latest lot has been particularly persistent.
I've since gotten one clearish night and had the camera going but haven't had a chance to complete the processing yet and the target was not really suited but it will at least let me play with my own real data.
With retirement on the horizon I wanted something to do with all my future spare time. Looks like I found it.
