Solar Activity 27th March 2020
By orientating the solar image with North at the top and East to the left you can directly compare with GONG etc. You can also use TiltingSun3 to prepare a grid overlay which shows the solar latitude of spots etc and direction of rotation.
Not much detail today...but it's interesting how your eye is attracted to long snake like features on the disk (I had to take a few images to convince myself)
The lonely filament was actually more impressive than I thought - only wish I had the seeing to do it justice.
