APO Barlows vs PowerMate/TeleXtender for SS imaging?

Are there any noticable differences/advantages when using the 4-element not-Barlows (Powermate/TeleXtender) compared to short 3-element Barlows - in lunary/solar and planetary imaging? Anyone did a comparison or has experience with both types?

I'm thinking about upgrading to two TeleXtenders (2x and 3x). From what I've read the telecentric design should be better when using big bigger sensors (like on the Moon/Sun) and all those dust particles should less promiment. And they should keep constant magnification (like with the C-mounted Basler that has bigger CCD-camera thread distance).
