Photometry filter advice

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any photometry experience and specifically any experience with photometry filters. I want to experiment with exoplanet transit photometry but don't want to commit to a full set of filters until I know my equipment and location are up to it. Looking at graphs of band passes of various filters it seems my green and red astrophotography filters are sort of (almost) in the right ball park so I'll give them a go and hope I'm not wasting my time. I've seen a blue-blocking filter advertised as a specific exoplanet filter so I'm guessing exact band passes are not required. I would appreciate advice if any one has experience.

Thanks, Kevin
