Anyone aware of any parks or clearings that would be ideal for telescoping?

Also will being able to see DSO be too much to expect from an 8" dob in this area or would i need to head further out over the mountains?

Thanks, Mitch
Hi Mitch I'm a stone throw away from you in Hinchinbrook next to the primary school, just back of cowpasture road M7 exit. Light pollution is pretty bad now. I just do NB from home. I went once on Elizabeth drive towards badgery's creek, on the right there's a short strip going to the tip. It's pretty flat and a bit darker. Otherwise you have to go further towards Wallacia.
