Thanks, guys! I have sussed out a battery and charger that will do (super cheap) . I will use the small inverter that came with our wood pellet stove
Just an ordinary car battery will be fine. One shop wanted to sell me a battery combo for $500. WOW! I ain't powering up Mt Stromlo!
