I notice your using Startools. I’ve been using Startools for over 3 years now ( still learning but getting good results with both good and noisy data ) Do you use the Autodev or the Develop module for your initial stretch and final stretch ?
As Carina is a very bright object , Autodev does a great job of bringing out fine detail whilst keeping the lid on noise and over saturation
I rarely use Develop it tends to “over expose” the image

Yeah I'm still learning how to use Startools. I might have a go a processing again today (got the time!). Now that I look at it I can see the core is blown out.
