In a November 20, 2019 press release, it has been announced that
researchers at Northwestern University have discovered a new type of
antibiotic which may help the fight against drug-resistant bacteria.
which are estimated to cause 700,000 deaths each year worldwide.
The discovery has been reported in Nature.
