One of my many projects is to source a EL Flat generating panel for the observatory, and this year I'd like to get that finalised. I have been researching the options, and ran across Gerd Neumann's Aurora panels (which seem pretty cost effective and complete) but are there simple local
DIY alternatives?

I would need a one panel solution so that I can use it on any of my scopes, right up to the 10", although realistically I should probably cover 12" 'just in case I ever build a new Newt'.
