Try the uninstall/reinstall/reboot first. Like Alex indicates the forum post seems to indicate that Nebulosity may be the Achilles heel here.
Can I ask, why 4x4? I use mine with 4x4 for aligning the goto, and centering the object on the chip, then change to 2x2 or 1x1.
