all tooled up with no place to go!!!

Hi All... if you're wondering why it's been so cloudy in Brisbane that would be down to me...I've been steadily building up my deep sky imaging kit in the hopes that one day I'll get to point it at the big black! Pics attached of shiny things.

Now on top of the Canon 40D and York Optical ED80, I've added a WO 0.8x flattener/reducer, WO guide rings and a new WO ZS66SD scope piggybacked as a guide scope, and the lot piled up on the LXD75 mount which I now have setup for autoguiding via PhD and webcam.

I'm very impressed with the ZS66SD and rings; like all William Optics gear it simply reeks quality feel, fit and finish.

While I intended to image purely with the 80ED, the 66SD is faster at F5.9 and has about 2/3rd the focal length (388mm uncorrected) and no doubt I'll end up swapping between the two scopes.

Also my Hutech IDAS-LPS light pollution filter turned up. This has a 2in thread and screws straight into the WO flattener.

So I have the tools... now I just need the talent the time and some clear skies

cheers,

Rob
