Funny enough that's where I picked up my 450D from..

probably for the OP, I should add...I tossed up between the 1000D and 450D and chose the 450D. Why? Probably not alot, the 450D has a faster "Raw" frame rate and bigger LCD for "live view focusing" and the 450D IR filter mod is well known where as the 1000D is only mod'd by
Hutech USA at the moment. That doesn't mean it cannot be done it just means it is not as commonly done.
