Thanks, Colin. I am such a newbie at all of this. The APM might get an airing at our astrocamp in November (at Font Hill, not far from Oatlands in Tassie. Excellent dark skies, when they happen).
By the way, I discovered only this week that I had not turned on the dew heater in the ASI071MC - confusing instructions from ZWO, so I wrote to them (they implied 0=On and 1=OFF when switching on and off through the software (SKY X in my case). The reverse is true, of course!
No wonder I had the dew problems months ago when I tried to image Eta Carinae.
Ah well, live and learn...
