One way is to power it from a 9V battery and tape the battery to the front of the secondary. I've had no experience with that. I ran two thin wires on the side of the Bintel "blade" spider and fixed them down with black electrical tape. I ran them along a blade on the opposite side to the focusser. Yes, the tape works loose so I just press it down at the start of each session. Haven't noticed any effect on diffraction spikes.
