That's what I thought...
But since I need to connect only 3 pins adjacent to one another, I may be able to do it using flat flex cable with appropriate pitch and piece of plastic board as carrier - reinforcement.
And once connected, the cable will stay.. so soldering is another option (requires dis-assembly of the whole thing)
