Surprisingly good lightweight mount - no backlash or sloppy feeling at all. Expected amount of vibration during focusing but very useable, The scope optics are very good for its size also as a number of reviews attest. If you are wanting to get the kids interested this is a keeper I think
Would also make an excelent long fl guidescope
