This is the exact reason why I work on a starless version to ensure that such detail is teased out without effecting the stars, that is if it exists, and the reason why it is not often seen is just down to processing, however looking on the web there are many images showing this detail. Sorry but I just don't like blown out stars, preferre them controlled even if that means slightly muted.
