yes it is Humayun. you need to have the AC genuine kit in the first place - although you can get one made up from Yun Chen as my cooled camera is run from that (12v source)
however there is another way you can do it.
I have one similar to this for my pentax k10D. it can use any battery and here is the kicker - you can use a DC power source. i then bought a jaycar 12v variable voltage adapter with 2A capacity. lovely!!
