I've thought about using a coma corrector but have chickened out because of the concept of using spacers to achieve focus.
My scope has been butchered a fair bit to get it rigged up for astrophotography which was purpose built from scratch for visual use only. Let me tell you I've run into heaps of trouble trying to achieve focus for photography as well as maintaining its ability as a visual scope still.
The glass is premium quality which is on my side though.
With your suggestion and I believe Kevin(cometcatcher) has guided me once before to do the same, I may take the plunge and see if I can make it work.
Perhaps the Baader MIII?

Hi Anth, I think the Baader MIII is pretty much plug and play to use with a dslr and newt, well it was with my 1100d canon . I have now gone with a toag and that did require a lot of fiddling with spacers to match the two camera's up. And I should add that's a excellent pic of the Centaurus globular.
