Ta Dave....Yes, I think it would (L-lenses are designed to fully illuminate 35mm sensors, and a 16803 has the same elevation profile), only problem is, my SBIG's 16803 doesn't have the right back focus....
But that's OK, the KAF8300 is basically a APC chip, and the sampling is better.... a case of "watch this space"
