A side by side comparison will be pretty meaningless as both are beautiful pieces of optics but the 20mm aperture differences throws everything out the window.
What is however very interesting is the colour/contrast variations in the lens which are presumably attributable to where the glass is being made and who is coating it. A number of folks o'seas have commented on the green hue on some Taks and now the new FCs are returning to the original clear/transparent coatings.
