That would be great, if Nikon hadn't already released D600. Same price, much better spec'd in every single aspect (unless you count important features like WiFi and GPS).
Canon has definitely lost the plot, and went overboard with an axe trying to protect the sales of 5D MkIII. Even 7D (crop sensor, already 3 years old), which 6D was obviously based on, has better specs!!! I don't see any MkII user rushing to swap either.
If they target novices, D600 is one huge elephant they won't be able to ignore. And although I like Canon's glass lineup, Nikkors are nothing to be sneezed at.

Some interesting times ahead!
