HI all,
For the last year I've been using a ProStar LP-Guide Mono for my guide camera, and it's been pretty good, but I do have a couple of issues with it.
- I'd prefer a OSC camera, to try some planetary shots
- The ProStars don't work on my Linux box (this is the biggest issue)
My current plan is to sell the ProStar and get a ZWO ASI224MC. I hear its a good performer for planetary shots. Can anyone confirm/deny this? Also, is it a good one for guiding (which is what I will use it for mostly)? And the biggest question, does it support Linux well? I would love to be able to get rid on my windows VM if I can.
