Just like mbaddah, i was interested in that mount.
It actually
is very pricy considering the object, but i guess one of the good points compared to an EQ6 for example is transportability.
It's light and small, tracks fairly well for wide field & short focal imaging (according to reviews), and seems to be fairly quick to set up.
Wouldn't that be a point to consider ?
P.S: I'm actually french, studying in Sydney for another year or so. After that i have no idea whether I'll stay here, or move overseas... my interest in in this mount arose when considering the transportability. I see it as a convenient thing that I'd be able to carry around (not like my C11 back home
).
Any other ideas/suggestions in my case ?
