Wild-Herrbrugge tripod, if extended to full height this puts the top at 167cm above ground, to that add the height of your mount. Lowest height is approx 100cm.

This is best suited to tall visual observers with large refractors, or those who would like to stand to use an SCT.

The tripod top is flat with a central plug with 10.5mm central hole (the plug can be removed which leaves a 60mm hole).

Fully extended its stiffness is comparable with the Losmandy LW tripod (as with the AZ8 or GM8 mounts). It is significantly stiffer in torsion than the Skywatcher tube tripods that ship with EQ5/EQ5 mounts. These are both far shorter than the Wild-Heerbrugge tripod.
